FAQ: Wadham College
Do you provide seating?
Seating is provided. It is unreserved tiered with backrests.
How long is the performance?
The show is approximately 2 hours long (including interval).
Can you buy tickets on the door?
Tickets are available to purchase at our box office at Wadham College (in the garden where we perform, not at the Porters’ Lodge), subject to availability.
Please note we cannot process card payments at Wadham College so cash or cheque only please.
Can we bring a picnic?
You are welcome to bring a picnic. The garden is open to the public from one hour before the performance.
Only alcohol purchased from our onsite bar is allowed into the garden. We sell wine, beer and Pimms.
What happens if it rains?
We always aim to continue with the performance. It is only in the event of persistent heavy rain that we would pause or cancel a performance. We will only make a decision to cancel a show at the scheduled start time.
For shows cancelled as a result of bad weather we will endeavour to exchange tickets for an alternative date subject to availability for the 2018 season or issue a credit note for future productions.
We advise dressing in suitable attire for an outdoor performance. We do have rain ponchos for sale and rugs available to hire onsite.
Is the venue accessible to the disabled?
Yes and disabled customers may bring 1 carer free. Customers requiring a free companion ticket please let us know at the booking point and we can make arrangements.
Is the show family friendly?
The play contains some adult content.
Is there parking?
There is limited parking (paid) in front of the entrance to Wadham College including a disabled parking bay. There is additional parking in Broad Street, a couple of minutes walk away.
Are dogs allowed?
Wadham College allows guide dogs for the blind and trained support dogs only into the college.
